You hand recyclables to BEST at an exchange. BEST issues you Environmental Points against your bXTRA account. Those points are then redeemable for goods at a partner shop — either from the shop's own stock, or from a consigned box we place at a sari-sari store that has no spare capital to carry inventory.

Points are for goods. They are never cash, never withdrawn, and never moved between accounts.

Can I turn my points into cash?

No. Environmental Points are redeemable for goods at a partner shop. They cannot be withdrawn, sold, or transferred to another account. That is a rule in the system, not a policy we could bend at a counter.

Where can I redeem today?

How do I get an account?

BEST creates it at the exchange when you hand over recyclables. There is no self-registration on this page. Once you have a bXTRA number or a registered email, you sign in with a password; a separate PIN authorises each redemption at a shop counter.

Why does a shop need a PIN from me?

So that nobody can redeem your points but you. Your password gets you into the app; your PIN is what says yes at the till. They are locked separately and the shop never sees either.

My shop has no money for extra stock. Can I still join?

Yes — that is exactly what the consigned box is for. We place a tray of goods at your store. You buy none of it and carry no risk on it; unsold stock comes back. You are paid your share of what sells.

What does it cost a shop?

Nothing to join and no membership. The platform earns a service fee on the transaction, and it is shown line by line on your statement. The exact rate for Mandaluyong is not signed yet, so no figure is printed here — ask for the rate that is live on the day you sign.

Can I redeem for beer or cigarettes?

No. There is no age verification in the system, so age-restricted goods are out of scope until there is. We will not claim an ID was checked when it was not.
